The Madrid region, has launched a program of conferences and meetings under the title "Madrid, Community of Knowledge.”
In the coming years, national and international experts in the knowledge economy are expected to take part in these meetings. The president of the Madrid region, Esperanza Aguirre, presented the inaugural conference of the Program, under the title "The Future of Scientific Research in Spain: Opportunities and Challenges", given by Spanish scientist Juan Pérez Mercader.
The "Madrid Community of Knowledge" program, directed by professor of economics Peter Schwartz, aims to analyze and disseminate developments in this field as well as the achievements of the university, business and the Madrid region in science and techniques.
Madrid is in the best position to lead economic change and has long been determined to develop the economy, as whoever develops the economy will lead the future.
