Madrid Network was created with the primary mission to act as an 'accelerator' of development for high and medium-high technology sectors in the Madrid Region. These sectors require differential support activities on account of their high content of specific knowledge and innovation.
The main aim of Madrid Network is to promote activities of all kinds to promote the knowledge economy and the application of innovation throughout businesses in the region, through:
- The promotion of projects and services offered, i.e. infrastructure development to support economic activity and improve competitiveness (science and technology parks, logistics platforms, specialized centers of innovation, etc.) or demand (early demand projects, the R & D projects of the companies themselves, innovation services to companies, etc.)
- Leveraging resources.
- Recruitment of additional public resources from national and European institutions specifically geared to innovation and "lead markets".
- Incorporation of private resources to finance activities and projects through the participation of companies themselves and private, national and international investors.
- Promoting the innovative and advanced image of the businesses and society in the Region
This action strategy is deployed through the search and development of projects, both those driven by each cluster and those that are common to several of them or intercluster.
Madrid Network guides such projects, working on their conception and completion, assisting in the preparation of plans and business models, and assisting in the search for funding.
