Partnership Agreement between the Tourism Cluster, Madrid Network and Argentina's Cordoba province

    • The agreement will open new lines of cooperation between the two institutions and the provincial government, which will be reflected in investment promotion, the definition and implementation of projects, and the joint development and promotion of information and dissemination activities.

Madrid Network and the Madrid Tourism Cluster have signed a cooperation agreement with the government in Argentina's Cordoba province. The agreement will open new lines of cooperation between the two institutions and the provincial government, which will be reflected in the promotion of investment, the definition and implementation of projects, and the joint development and promotion of information and dissemination activities.

The agreement was signed by the president of Madrid Network and head of the Madrid Tourism Cluster, Aurelio García de Sola, and the Governor of the Province of Cordoba, Juan Schiaretti. Also present at the signing was the Minister of Economy and Finance of the Madrid Region, Antonio Beteta.

Currently the province of Argentina is developing a cultural tourism project called "Camino Real" which seeks to reconstruct, evaluate and preserve the old road that passes through the province of Cordoba, which in previous centuries joined the colonial capital of Upper Peru and the Rio de la Plata. The original tracks are preserved between the city of Jesus Maria and the edge of Santiago del Estero. 176 km in length, it linked the places and temples founded by the Jesuits.

Madrid Network hopes this agreement will "strengthen collaboration with Cordoba and offer its 600 members the opportunity to create value and internationalize in this difficult economic context," said Garcia de Sola.
